The EOTF also follows the target PQ curve perfectly until there's a sharp roll-off at the peak brightness, causing a loss of fine details with bright scenes. The changes in brightness can be noticeable in some scenes when playing games, but it isn't too distracting. It also has an aggressive Automatic Brightness Limiter (ABL) that makes large areas considerably dimmer. It gets brightest with small highlights, making them stand out against the rest of the screen, but it still isn't bright enough overall for a vivid HDR experience.
